Disc / PVC Connection Installation in Jaipur
Starting from
₹100 (min 2 Installations)
About this service
PVC waste connections and disc fittings for kitchen sinks, wash basins and shower floor drains. We size the trap correctly to the basin or sink outlet, solvent-weld every joint, and slope the run so water clears without pooling. Minimum two connections per visit keeps the call-out economical. Common job is fixing the foul smell from a kitchen sink — almost always a missing or dry P-trap, which we replace properly.
Common symptoms we see
- Foul smell rising from sink or basin drain
- Water pooling around the floor drain
- Slow drain that gurgles when emptying
- Visible leak under the sink cabinet
How we do it
- 1Measure outlet and select correct trap and disc
- 2Cut PVC pipe to length with deburring
- 3Solvent-weld with proper cure time before pressure test
- 4Run water for several minutes to confirm dry joints
Materials we use
PVC P-traps and bottle traps (40 mm and 50 mm), solvent cement, PVC discs and reducers.
Typical duration
30 minutes for two connections; up to an hour for a full kitchen.
Safety & quality
Solvent cement needs ventilation — we open windows and pause if the area is enclosed.
Frequently asked questions
Why a minimum of two installations?
Travel and setup time costs the same whether it is one fitting or two. The ₹100 covers the visit; doing two together is the better-value way to use it.
Will the smell come back?
Not if the trap holds water. We size the trap to the outlet so it stays primed; if you go on vacation for weeks, run the tap for 30 seconds when you return.
Can you re-route the waste pipe behind the cabinet?
Yes, within reasonable distance. Major rerouting is a separate pipeline-rerouting job.
