Drainage Line Installation in Jaipur

About this service
Drainage line installations and replacements — soil stacks for WCs, waste runs for basins, sinks and shower floors, and external connection to the main sewer. The two things that go wrong with drains are slope and ventilation. We verify slope at minimum 1 in 50 and ideally 1 in 40, and add vents above the highest fixture to break siphonage. Without proper venting, traps suck dry and the bathroom smells.
Common symptoms we see
- Slow drains across multiple fixtures
- Gurgling sound when one fixture drains
- Foul smell from drains in dry weather
- Backing up during heavy monsoon
How we do it
- 1Survey existing layout and slope
- 2Cut, dry-fit and rubber-ring or solvent-weld joints
- 3Slope-check every metre and at every junction
- 4Water-flow test before sealing the chase
Materials we use
UPVC SWR pipe and fittings (110/75/50 mm), EPDM rubber-ring seals, vent cowls for terminations.
Typical duration
3–6 hours per bathroom or kitchen run.
Safety & quality
Drain work needs the line shut to incoming traffic — we co-ordinate timing so we’re not testing while you need the bathroom.
Frequently asked questions
My drain backs up only in monsoon — why?
External main drain at capacity, or no overflow vent. We check both at the inspection chamber.
Can you re-slope an existing drain that runs flat?
Sometimes — depends on the floor depth available. If the slab is too shallow, the drain has to go down a different route.
How important is the vent pipe?
Critical. Without a vent, the trap loses its water seal and odour comes back through the bathroom.
