Controlled tile cutting around plumbing fixtures and pipe routes. Tap-changeovers, concealed-valve access, drain repositioning — all need a clean cut through tile without chipping the surrounding pieces. We use a diamond disc with water cooling, score the line, and break out the waste piece in segments. Where the cut needs to remain visible, the edge is bevelled and sealed; where new tile will cover it, we trim flush.

Frequently asked questions
Will surrounding tiles crack?
Not with a diamond disc and proper scoring. Hammer-and-chisel methods crack — we don’t use them.
Can you match the replacement tile?
We try, but exact matches on older tile are hard. We can advise on the closest available current pattern.
Do you re-tile after the plumbing fix?
Yes for small areas as part of the plumbing job. Full re-tiling is a separate tile-work line item.
