About this service
Storage geysers (15–25 L) and instant geysers for kitchens and bathrooms. We anchor into solid wall with M10 bolts, fit a brass safety valve and PTMT inlet/outlet adaptors, install a flexible hot-water connector to absorb thermal expansion, and verify the dedicated MCB on the electrical line. For geyser replacements in old Jaipur buildings, we re-test the existing earth before energising — earth-leakage faults are the most common reason geysers trip the breaker.
Common symptoms we see
- Geyser tripping the MCB on switch-on
- No hot water but heating element seems on
- Water dripping from the safety valve continuously
- Old geyser to be replaced with new unit
How we do it
- 1Confirm wall structure and electrical earth
- 2Anchor geyser with M10 bolts; fit safety valve
- 3PTMT inlet, brass outlet, flexible hot connector
- 4Energise on dedicated MCB; check 30-minute warm-up
Materials we use
M10 anchor bolts, brass safety valves (8 bar), PTMT adaptors, stainless-braided flexible hoses, dedicated 16A geyser MCB if not already present.
Typical duration
1.5–2 hours for a fresh install; 1 hour for like-for-like replacement.
Safety & quality
We do not skip the safety valve. A geyser without a safety valve is a pressure-vessel hazard.
Frequently asked questions
My geyser drips from the safety valve — is that normal?
A few drops during heating: yes. Continuous drip: the valve is failed or pressure is too high. We check both.
Can I run two bathrooms off one geyser?
Yes if the geyser is sized for it (usually 25 L+) and the run is short. Long runs lose heat — instant geyser at the second point may be better.
How long should a geyser last in Jaipur?
5–8 years. Hard water scales the heating element; an annual descale extends life significantly.
