About this service
Pressure-boost installations and diagnostics. Most low-pressure complaints in Jaipur are not pump problems — they are clogged angle valves, scaled CPVC reducers, or undersized tank head. We meter the pressure at the worst-affected fixture, work backwards through the supply, and either clear the blockage or recommend the right size of booster pump. For genuinely low-head situations (overhead tank only one floor above the fixture), an inline pressure pump or a pressurised storage tank is the correct fix.
Common symptoms we see
- Trickle from upper-floor showers
- Geyser cuts in and out due to low pressure
- New rain shower won’t spray properly
- Pressure dropped after recent renovation
How we do it
- 1Meter pressure at affected fixtures and at the source
- 2Identify the actual restriction
- 3Clear blockage or fit booster pump as appropriate
- 4Re-meter and verify across all affected fixtures
Materials we use
Inline booster pumps (0.5 HP typical), pressure-regulating valves, replacement angle valves and reducers when scaled.
Typical duration
2–3 hours for diagnosis and either clearance or pump fitting.
Safety & quality
Pressure pumps need dedicated wiring — we don’t piggy-back on the geyser MCB.
Frequently asked questions
Is a booster pump necessary?
Often not. We diagnose first — most low-pressure issues are upstream blockages.
Will more pressure burst my pipes?
CPVC handles the pressures a domestic booster delivers. We fit a regulating valve if pressure exceeds 5 bar.
Can a booster pump run all the time?
Yes, with a pressure switch — it cuts in only when a tap opens. Quiet, low-power.
