Underground Tank Installation in Jaipur
Starting from
₹3,500
About this service
Underground sumps for storing the daily municipal supply or bore-well output. Two formats — site-cast concrete (for permanent installs and larger volumes) and HDPE drop-in tanks (faster, no curing time, easier to clean). We size the sump to at least one full day of supply, fit a scour valve at the lowest point for cleaning, vent the lid to prevent vacuum on draw-down, and run the inlet from the supply tap with a stop-cock at street level for maintenance.
Common symptoms we see
- No underground storage — fully reliant on overhead tank
- Existing sump cracked or contaminated
- Bore-well needs storage between extraction and use
- Garden / car-wash needs a separate supply
How we do it
- 1Excavate to depth and prepare base
- 2Set HDPE tank or pour concrete walls
- 3Fit inlet, outlet, scour and vent
- 4Backfill, test, commission
Materials we use
HDPE underground tanks or M20 concrete with waterproofing admix, brass scour valves, UPVC inlet/outlet, lockable manhole cover.
Typical duration
4–6 hours for an HDPE drop-in; concrete sumps span multiple days for cure.
Safety & quality
Excavation work — we shore the sides on anything over 1 m deep. No exception.
Frequently asked questions
HDPE or concrete sump?
HDPE for speed and easy cleaning. Concrete for very large volumes or where the geometry needs to be custom.
How often should an underground sump be cleaned?
Annually — Jaipur supply has fine sediment that builds up at the bottom.
Do you waterproof the sump from inside?
Concrete sumps yes — with a food-grade waterproofing slurry. HDPE doesn’t need it.
